Blooming beauty

Redbud in bloom

Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.         Albert Schweitzer

  1. The redbuds do seem especially gorgeous this season. I'll be sorry to see the flowers drop once the leaves come out though I'm optimistic this year's crop of wildflowers will fill the void beautifully!

  2. How lovely! I don't think I have seen any around here.

  3. My redbud has been in full bloom for a few days now and all the bees, as well as the hummingbirds, are loving it!

  4. I thought I could recognize each redbud species from its flower color...not sure now.

And no luck seeing wild redbuds from the Pecos River into the Hill Country on last week's trip...maybe early?
