Cats in the Sun

Cats love a cozy nap on a cool day.
Alexa takes an afternoon snooze on the window seat in the kitchen.
Ernest ignores the pest a few feet away.

All the cats are happy.

    You all look happy dear Kathleen. We are experiencing a heat-wave, it was so hot today 38ºC and now just after midnight it is still hot.
    My three kitties are all flaked out on the floor just inside the front door hoping for a little cooling breeze.

    We are all happier campers in this family once the weather motivates our cats to hijack our laps for napping opportunities. Some evenings I'm not sure if I'm hearing the cat purring or perhaps my husband....
