2011

I wrote a great post (click here) last year about old resolutions and other things; it wandered as all good trails and stories do.

So now I'm freed from public resolution obligation--a good thing since I don't make them.  Except this annual resolution, at which I've been spectacularly successful:

To make new mistakes this year.

Feel free to claim it as your own.

But damn. I am so very busy with my OLD mistakes. What to do? What to do?

I've already achieved that, and it's only the second of the year. Oh, the possibilities!

I am a habitual mistake maker.
Maybe that's why I am also a habitual encourager.
I know what it feels like.

what a stunning picture to start the new year! Mistakes indeed! Mistakes are only an opportunity to learn something new. If only everyone could look at it that way! Happy new year to you, m'lady!

hahaha Kathleen, we can have a big organization with lots of members in this new New Year's Resolution. Certainly i nominate you as our president, i assure you to follow rules and obligations. More seriously this time, i love this photo, Happy New Year to you and family. Despite of our mistakes, we are still happy and still positive, isnt it great!

Last year I resolved to make no resolutions...but this year, I am resolving to use more jars and fewer plastic leftover/storage containers. Ought to be easy enough to do and hopefully a bit better for Momma Earth as well. Happiest Perihelion today!

Haha... that's the good kind of plagiarism, right? I'll be happy to claim it this year.

Thanks for participating in How to Find Great Plants. The new issue is up today!

My favorite mysteries were those from E.A. Poe, but these are not bad.

Hi SPP, the picture is straight-down look at a yucca in autumn. Isn't the view a slide into life?
