Explorations of a travel writer living in the beautiful Texas Hill Country...flora and fauna, nature and mysteries...food and wine...life.
Such lovely blue bonnets. Views such as this one absolutely feed my soul. I am deeply happy we are having a good year for our wildest flowers. Now they can reseed and replenish for years yet to come.
your wide eyes are smiling, in the shimmery blue (at least those are the words to the bluebonnet song I used to sing as a child)
These pictures are great! May I ask where you are? KLRU is taping a wildflower special for next year and I'd love to know your sites for taping. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. And, we're dealing with a 20-year-old cat and his last days, so my heart is with you.
Oh the beeyoootifull Blooooo!!! I had to stop and take a picture of a field of lupine last week which also made me hold my breath. Then the baby arrived... But you have inspired me to post those soon.x0 N2
